Peter Russell is on the faculty of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, a fellow of The World Business Academy and The Findhorn Foundation, an Honorary Member of The Club of Budapest, and President of Science and Nonduality.
At Cambridge University (UK), he studied mathematics and theoretical physics. Then, as he became increasingly fascinated by the mysteries of the human mind he changed to experimental psychology. Pursuing this interest, he traveled to India to study meditation and eastern philosophy, and on his return took up the first research post ever offered in Britain on the psychology of meditation.
He also has a post-graduate degree in computer science, and conducted some of the early work on 3-dimensional displays, presaging by some twenty years the advent of virtual reality.
In the 1970s, he was one of the first people to introduce human potential seminars into the corporate field, and for twenty years ran programs for senior management on creativity, stress management, personal development, and sustainable development. Clients have included IBM, Apple, Digital, American Express, Barclays Bank, Swedish Telecom, ICI, Shell Oil and British Petroleum.
In 1982 he coined the term “global brain” with his 1980s bestseller of the same name in which he predicted the Internet and the impact it would have. The Global Brain
His other books include: The TM Technique, The Upanishads, The Brain Book, The Creative Manager, The Consciousness Revolution, Waking Up in Time, The Global Brain / The Awakening Earth, Seeds of Awakening , From Science to God, and his most recent Letting Go of Nothing.
As one of the more revolutionary futurists Peter Russell has been a keynote speaker at many international conferences, in Europe, Japan and the USA. His multi-image shows and videos, The Global Brain and The White Hole in Time have won praise and prizes from around the world. In 1993 the environmental magazine Buzzworm voted Peter Russell “Eco-Philosopher Extraordinaire” of the year.
His principal interest is the deeper, spiritual significance of the times we are passing through. His work seeks to distill the essence of the world’s spiritual traditions and present it in ways relevant to the current times.

For a very long time, and well before I wrote Your Soul’s Plan, I had been searching, fruitlessly, for the deeper meaning of my life.
A Personal Turning Point
In 2003, my search took a new and surprising turn when I decided to consult with a medium. Although I had a strong belief in God, I had never (as far as I knew) directly experienced the metaphysical. I researched mediums and selected someone with whom I felt comfortable.
My session with the medium took place on May 7, 2003. I remember the exact date because on that day my life changed. I told the medium very little about myself, describing my circumstances only in the most general terms. She explained that each of us has spirit guides, nonphysical beings with whom we plan our lives prior to incarnation. Through her I was able to speak with mine. They knew everything about me—not only what I had done but also what I had thought and felt. For example, they referred to a specific prayer I had said to God some five years earlier. At a particularly difficult time I had prayed, “God, I can’t do this alone. Please send help.” My guides told me that additional nonphysical assistance had been provided. “Your prayer was answered,” they said. I was astounded.
Eager to understand the suffering I had experienced, I asked my guides about the major challenges I had faced. They explained that I had planned these challenges before birth—not for the purpose of suffering, but for the growth that would result. I was shaken by this information. My conscious mind knew nothing of pre-birth planning, yet intuitively I sensed truth in their words.
Although I did not realize it at the time, my session with the medium triggered a profound spiritual awakening for me. I would later understand that this awakening was really a remembering—a remembering of who I am as an eternal soul and, more specifically, what I had planned to do on Earth.

Our esteemed guest today is Mr. Dick Khan!

Between October 2013 and December 2017, I established my own home-based research program aimed at exploring and investigating the effects of smoking freebase DMT. I had a very definite intention in mind – to understand the causal nature of the experience beyond inhaling the potent vapour. Employing a mindset long influenced by esoteric and occult philosophies, I came to understand the DMT experience in its fullness is a very direct and very profound interaction with powerful spiritual entities.

I began with no intention to publish my work. However, the more I researched and the more I wrote, the more I wanted to share my accounts of these truly amazing life-changing encounters. Writing gave me the opportunity to integrate and to rationalize my experiences into my rapidly changing mindset. Writing also gave me the opportunity to share several paranormal experiences from my childhood; experiences that now seemed to make more sense and seemed to hold more relevance to the research I was engaged with.

In February 2017, I published the research from my first year of investigation.

OUR GOAL
Where Did the Road Go? aims to go deeper than your average fringe-aimed talk show. We ask hard questions, without being overly confrontational. We support the work of our guests. We want to bring their ideas and research to as wide an audience as possible, while also viewing it from as many directions as possible. We are not interested in wild speculation, although some speculation can be fun and constructive. We seek out the most interesting researchers and avoid the pop culture that is so overexposed today. As a result, you will hear from some people that you would not otherwise. We cover the paranormal in all its forms; Ghosts, UFO’s, Bigfoot, Cryptids, Psychic Abilities, etc. We heavily explore Lost Civilizations in many directions. We talk of cataclysms and cycles of ages. We occasionally touch on religion and beliefs. We explore concepts of consciousness and reality, altered states and DMT. And once, in a great while, we may touch on something political. But not often. We believe in science. We believe that the cutting edge of science should be embraced, not ignored. We believe that new ideas should be explored, and that dogma in science is a very bad thing that restricts progress. There are things in this world that we simply do not understand. Things, that from our current perspective, may not be understood. Strange things happen to people, all the time. There are genuine unknowns out there. We want to explore them. From Black-Eyed Children to Multi-dimensional UFO’s to Pole Shifts to Advanced Antediluvian Civilizations. It’s important. We need to truly explore our world and know where we came from. We need to know what we may really be interacting with. We need to enlighten ourselves. If there was a lost civilization, what happened to it, and could it happen to us? If there are beings that can come and go in this world, why do they, and what might they want? It matters if things are not what they seem. In the end, we may need a whole new view of reality itself. We don’t follow the path that has been tread before. We seek to be torchbearers down a new road because so far, the roads traveled have not revealed the answers. So enjoy the show, feel free to interact, ask questions, and open your mind.

SKEPTICS VS DEBUNKERS
The word skeptic is thrown around a little too easily nowadays. The majority of those that call themselves skeptics, simply are not. You may better call them closed-minded skeptics, but in reality, they are debunkers. They have their mind made up, and they have an agenda to disprove that which they feel doesn’t fit in with their views. Debunkers can’t deal with admitting there are things they may not know or understand. Anyone, on any side, that has their mind made up, is not a Skeptic. A true skeptic, asks questions. A true skeptic questions everything, and is open to new ideas. Where Did the Road Go? is a skeptical show, in that it asks questions. We have no agenda, we are not seeking to prove any one thing over another, but to expand the awareness of those interested. You can decide for yourself what to believe and what to dismiss.

HISTORY OF THE SHOW
Where Did the Road Go? is a weekly radio show on WVBR, 93.5 FM, Ithaca, NY (which also streams online). It airs from 11pm to Midnight every Saturday night, Eastern. WVBR is a commercial radio station in Ithaca, NY, just outside Cornell University. The show first aired on January 26, 2013. Later on, we were picked up by Deprogrammed Radio, Intrepid Radio, and Dark Matter Radio. We occasionally have mid-week podcasts and some video interviews that can be found on our YouTube and Vimeo sites.

Your regular host is Seriah Azkath. Seriah has been studying the unknown for around 30 years and is currently working on a book about it. His studies have spanned from the UFO Phenomenon, Ghosts, and Psychic Abilities, to Comparative Religion and the Occult, to Lost Civilizations and Alternative History, to consciousness and reality. He is very science minded and investigates new science and alternative science as well. Seriah is a true skeptic, not a debunker. He questions everything and doesn’t dismiss anything completely out of hand. He has been in radio for over 20 years now, hosting a Heavy Metal based show called The Last Exit for the Lost, which follows this show on WVBR. Dr. Pry is the Executive Director of Task Force on National and Homeland Security, a Congressional Advisory Board dedicated to achieving protection of the United States from electromagnetic pulse (EMP), cyber-attack, mass destruction terrorism and other threats to civilian critical infrastructures on an accelerated basis. Dr. Pry is also the Director of the United States Nuclear Strategy Forum, a Congressional Advisory Board dedicated to developing policies to counter Weapons of Mass Destruction. A fortuitous set of circumstances allowed him to take a year sabbatical from his business career and he decided that he would focus the fruits of all his reading and research in writing a book. Exactly one year later he surfaced with the manuscript of his first book, then entitled Cheating the Ferryman. This book was a distillation of all his areas of interest, quantum physics, neurology, ancient myths, altered-states of consciousness and the mystery of death. However, it was to take five years before this work appeared in print. Thanks to the help of Professor Bruce Greyson of the University of Virginia, an article based upon Anthony’s Cheating the Ferryman hypothesis was to appear in the Winter 2004 edition of the Journal of Near-Death Studies, the academic periodical of the International Association of Near-Death Studies (IANDS). A few months later, in early 2005, British publishing house Arcturus bought the rights to the book and, a year later, and after a substantial re-write, Anthony’s first book, with the new title Is There Life After Death – The Extraordinary Science of What Happens When We Die was published.
