Welcome to FLUID-X-CHANGE episode #1

My name is Elizabeth Thorn and I will be your nerdy, dirty host on our adventure

through fetishes and philia's.

As some of you may know I did some fundraising for this Podcast. I set out to raise $5,000 for equipment and start up coasts. A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated especially the anonymous donor of $4,200. WOW! Right! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Unfortunately the way these things work, they take a percentage out for processing and will take another two weeks or so before I receive the funds let alone order and instal the equipment. The good news is that the quality of this Podcast is going to get better FAST!I want to not only bring you interesting and educational content but also the best

quality sexcast possible.

 

(TO BE CLEAR I am NOT a doctor or really even a specialist on sex at all. I did not

go to school for sex education or talking on the radio. I did go to college, but Fluid-

X-Change is not meant to come from such a matriculated perspective. I am a Fetish

Sex-Worker and independent adult industry professional.

I am an advocate for the sex-positive movement and a greater awareness to the

healthy Fetish Community... its larger then you think...

I personally maintain a positive and healthy poly and kinky lifestyle. I can promise

you that I will continue to learn and grow as a sexual being. I hope that you will join

diverse and tolerant society.)

 

FLUID-X-CHANGE is an interview based show focusing on different fetishes and

philia's in each episode. There will be a new episode every other Friday. I will be

interviewing everyone from noveists to experts on these topics and have a fucking

blast doing it.

I find peoples sexuality's to be fascinating and as important to who they are as what

kind of music the like or what they put on their bagel.

 

WHAT IS A FETISH OR A PHILIA YOU ASK?

 

THE word Fetish was originally used to refer to religious objects, such as stone or

wooden sculptures, that were worshiped in place of a god or as if it was the god.

The common definition of a sexual fetish is the worship or obsession with an inanimate object.

and high heels are all common sexual fetishes.

A philia is different then a fetish. A common philia that is miss labeled a fetish is

"foot fetish" which is actually Podophilia. Because the foot is not a man made object

it can not be a fetish.

I KNOW I said this was going to be an interview based show and here I am doing all the talking. Unfortunately since I have very limited equipment to work with on these first few episodes. I don't want to offend your ears with horrid sound quality. I do have a test interview I did in which the sound came out ok. This test interview was with a very dear friend of mine, Randy Johnson who in his sexuality borders on vanilla or so he says more Monogamous until recently, but I chose to put this test interview in the first episode because Randy says some really beautiful things and touches on why Fluid-X-Change is an important message of understanding for everyone, not just the kink-sters and the sexually extreme.
