<description>Today's spotlighted East Cobb Business is in an industry we haven't interviewed yet - Senior Care.  Robin addresses her passion for seniors from the beginning to presently serving baby boomer's aging parents.

Being involved in your community creates a special network of trusted individuals.  Robin realized her passion and realized the desire early to give back to the community in which she works and lives.
The need for elder care services is outpacing the growth of the industry...everything to do with Baby Boomers...successes with modern medicine...people are living longer.
-Robin Cleveland, Interview on East Cobb Business Hour
She addresses the booming need for senior care in the Atlanta area and her unique business offering of adult day care where you can drop off Mom and Dad for someone to care for them, arrange financial meetings, and other important meetings for them in private rooms.  There is a constant flow of activity by stimulating seniors physically, mentally and sometimes spiritually.

Listen to the story about Mr. and Mrs. Smith and what they have to deal with after one passes away and the effect on their family.

Robin Cleveland mentioned these groups:

	Cobb Services for the Elderly
	Parkinson's Disease Support Group

You can find Robin and Robin's Nest Adult Day Care here:

<description>Wow! Another wonderful spotlighted East Cobb Business person! Meet Justin Fierro with HealthQuest Chiropractic on Johnson Ferry Rd.

Dr. Fierro doesn't claim to know it all, but he does claim to have made mistakes in growing his business and offers his experience to help others learn and grow. He has a brick and mortar storefront that helps people heal through chiropractic, nutrition and personal training.

The common thread in attracting clients is to provide advice and education and offering them what they need instead of what the insurance company thinks they need.  In this interview, you will hear more about his journey in purchasing a practice and find out what helps his business grow in East Cobb.
We have a big educational process in the office and I think that’s been absolutely crucial to our growth because we get to know the person, they feel confident with us, and then they stay around because we have that relationship and again in business, the relationship aspect is so huge .

- Justin Fierro, Interview on East Cobb Business Hour
I found two quotes that were just great; they gave me chills because they were so poignant to running your own business.
We sit down with them we really learn about them and that’s the thing, it’s not just about ‘hey, let’s fit you into our mold’…I think that’s key, about building a business, is really catering to the person, not fitting them into your mold, but give them what they need and what they’re asking for.

<description>I worked with Kevin at a prior website company and had been impressed with his marketing background and ability to create marketing concepts based on researching a business' culture, competition and industry.  I ran into him again at an East Cobb Business Association After Hours event and we rekindled our business relationship.

Here is his bio:

I have been in the advertising industry for 24 years, and have held positions ranging from Art Director to copy writer. I have created videos, print and radio advertising, and worked in companies as large as the international Uniden Corporation, and as small as a 3-man design studio. Over the years, I became more and more aware of the need for results oriented efforts, instead of untracked, non-strategic campaigns.

Ten years ago, I began applying myself to direct marketing while serving a client that mailed 20,000 pieces month across the eastern United States. Since then, I have written many successful campaigns, designed many marketing pieces, and worked with large and small clients.

My background in advertising affords me the ability to write and design, but it’s my marketing education and knowledge that allows me to help clients be successful.

You can find Kevin at these following places:

<description>If you review Tom's LinkedIn profile, he has many interests including: Tennis, Martial Arts, Hunting/Shooting, Fishing, Woodworking, Guitars and Motorcycle riding (Harley). He really is 'The Most Interesting Man'. Stop by his office to see how he decorates. Really!

In the past, he has been an EF Hutton and Bear Stearns representative with 12 years in the Commodity business when he decided to switch from a 'greed' industry to a 'giving' industry in insurance by helping people with risk.
In a lot of ways it (commodity trading) is opposite of insurance because insurance is the paying of a small premium to offset the risk of the larger loss and in commodity trading, it's putting up money to assume risk so your're looking at profiting from it.  And insurance really is not for profit, it's just bringing you back to whole.
His industry can be seasonal. The new year usually brings people in to reevaluate their insurance coverages. Tom believes in educating his clients via an annual review. He believes in being in person for his clients as a fellow neighbor of East Cobb.  He uses some print advertising and finds referrals to be very rewarding.

He is a member of Marietta Harley Owner's Group (Hellbender Harley Dealership) 'to ride and have fun' but also to give back to the community. His staff participates in East Cobb Business Association and keeps visible in the community.

They may even be East Cobb's Oldest Allstate agency and are proud of their &quot;premier service designation&quot;. They received Agency of the year in 2009 and 2010.

You can find Tom at these following places:

In the past, he has been an EF Hutton and Bear Stearns representative with 12 years in the Commodity business when he decided to switch from a 'greed' industry to a 'giving' industry in insurance by helping people with risk.
In a lot of ways it (commodity trading) is opposite of insurance because insurance is the paying of a small premium to offset the risk of the larger loss and in commodity trading, it's putting up money to assume risk so your're looking at profiting from it.  And insurance really is not for profit, it's just bringing you back to whole.

<description>I'm a simple man with deep thoughts and convictions. Throughout my life, I have always sought to help others improve their lot in life. I have found that the application of chiropractic principles does just that. It helps you (and your body) perceive and adapt to the world around and inside you. When that happens, you make better decisions in every aspect of your life.

My objective is to help as many people as I possibly can get more out of their lives. I seek to speak to as many groups as possible about the true nature of chiropractic and its role in creating a powerful life regardless of one's present circumstance.

My unique background in banking, real estate and business has guided me toward entrepreneurs and self-employed folks specifically, although everyone can benefit from chiropractic care.

Another of my objectives is to make routine chiropractic check-ups and adjustments accessible to all who want it. I want to help at least 1000 chiropractors open a membership practice within the next 5 years and possibly open chiropractic membership offices in Walmart stores all over the United States.

Specialties:Chiropractic, Public Speaking, Chamber of Commerce activities

<description>Aaron is one of those guys you meet that you're instantly at ease with.  You know where you stand with him and he's going to tell it to you straight.

He's been in (the remodeling side of) the roofing business for over 16 years and the company's been around since 2007 if that says anything for his sustainability through the 'rough years'.
“I don't change my price based on where I am...our price is based on materials, labor, dumpster, profit...it's the same margin, every day, no matter who it is.”
- Aaron Morrison, Interview on East Cobb Business Hour
In Aaron's words: The &quot;remodeling&quot; distinction is an important one to make because I have abundant experience fixing other installers' bad jobs and seeing what didn't work, not doing the original (new construction) install that caused the problem. We're factory certified by GAF and Certainteed to offer extended warranties on their products and we always meet or exceed manufacturer installation specs and building codes.  All of our work to this point has been from referrals, not advertising.  My philosophy is, as cliched as it sounds, to just do it right. In the long run, sacrificing a few dollars today is worth ensuring the longevity of the installation. I believe it IS possible to install a 30-year roof that requires no maintenance and we strive to do just that, every day. It's why we're the roofer of choice to those in the know. Property managers, general contractors, builders, real estate and insurance agents, those who have dealt extensively with other roofers call us when they or their clients have need of our services.

His Motto: Got a leak? Need a new roof? We get it done right the first time. We take roofing to new heights.

<description>From the outset of his career, Erik Seifert has had a deep passion for technology that helps smaller companies take on their much larger competitors. During his more than 20 years in the industry, Erik has repeatedly discovered unique technology solutions for small and mid-sized businesses. And then worked tirelessly to introduce them on a global scale. His career includes positions with such industry luminaries as Hewlett-Packard, IBM, and Navision Software (acquired by Microsoft).

In our interview today we discussed being yourself in business, and putting your best self forward.
&quot;you've got to be yourself and you have to believe in that person being good enough for the job...we all can't be good at everything at any one time...for your own happiness, you have to be true to who you are&quot;
- Erik Seifert, Interview on East Cobb Business Hour
In tune with Erik's passion, caSaaS was founded on the notion that growing businesses need web solutions that are as capable as those of big companies, just much easier to use. And much easier to afford.

caSaaS works with creative partners to use imagination and the Internet to provide the growing business with a competitive edge versus its much larger competitors. caSaaS envisions a world in which great ideas may be executed by any company.</description>
