When picking a Domain name we need to take some things into consideration, for when you tell someone your domain name, what you don’t want to do is have to explain the name to them, for example www.my-domainname.com that’s “www dot my dash domain name dot com.” If you have to explain your domain name to people, then it’s not a good name to use, I hear people all the time having to repeat themselves and explain about the dashes. This simple rule is a very old thing but still holds true, the one exception I think would be if you noyou will never tell people the name or its a fun name, like www.get-my-great-review-plugin.com.  This kind of name looks purposely done. Made Up Words Also we need to watch for adding letters to names like www.lazerbriii.com some people add letters to words, this also makes you explain the name, www.wpihost.com would work because you would say “wp I Host dot com” but “wp I Hostt dot com” makes you explain the extra “T.” The Basic Rule Not thinking about the feeling or emotion from your name, but looking at this basic rule, try pick a name ware you never have to explain it.
