Nora is known for When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, and You’ve Got Mail (among many others) and the book is delightful.

“Midlife is when we outgrow our pursuit of happiness and start our practice of joy.” (Chapter 9). We can learn to redefine our definition of success, step out of the rat race of expectations, and often decide to start something new. There is great joy and adventure in being a beginner at something, and many people take on this challenge to make their midlife enjoyable. Could you take all that you have learned and use it in an unexpected way? We encourage you to rethink your relationship to work and "repot yourself in new soil" in order to flourish again.

Let's Learn to Love Midlife! The time of life in our 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s is a time to harvest all of our wisdom and experience and make real contributions to our community and our world. We challenge the old stereotype of the “midlife crisis” as well as the cultural idea that this time of life is just a sad downhill slide. Tim Hinton, Dr. Mary White, and those watching live share their own experiences and outlooks on this time. Together we can learn and grow and move through our midlife with energy and hope and accomplishment.

Watch the VIDEO version of this podcast at https://youtu.be/YKYYB49RJDs
