In today's situationship scene, the term "F boy" (or girl) describes individuals who prioritize their own needs over genuine connections, often leaving behind hurt and disappointment. We Call BS on why people are drawn to this toxic behavior. We believe A "F Boy" makes big promises but fails to follow through, playing games with emotions and lacking empathy for their partners. They see relationships as conquests rather than meaningful connections.

The allure of the "fuck boy" phenomenon can be traced to fear of intimacy, societal norms glorifying casual relationships, or past trauma leading to seeking validation through fleeting connections…. While Engaging with "fuck boys" can damage self-esteem, leading to anxiety, depression, and distrust in future relationships. Interesting….

In this episode, we delve into the journey of taking accountability for our actions and reactions. We unveil the intricate ways in which we navigate conflict, often opting for the path of least resistance—external blame. However, as our narrative unfolds, we invite listeners to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery. We challenge the notion of blame as a protective shield and instead advocate for the act of introspection. By peeling back the layers of our own behaviors and reactions, the power to shape our relationships lies within ourselves.

Drawing upon personal experiences, we encourage the potential of embracing accountability. We share practical strategies for cultivating self-awareness and fostering authentic communication, empowering listeners to dismantle the barriers to accountability within their own relationships. We confront the discomfort of self-confrontation with courage and compassion, recognizing that true growth and intimacy blossom from a foundation of accountability and you’re not going to get what you want unless you can articulate it with grace and proper communication.

Inquiring minds want to know! If you’re in a relationship, does the other person have the right to take all boundaries away? Should they have complete access to your life? Access to your phone? Access to your bank account? Access to your private conversations?

Everyday we have to determine when and who we set boundaries with! Can you imagine if “do not disturb” actually worked in real life? Where it was easy like a switch of a button to be protected, unconnected and unavailable?

Passwords on phones, access to journals! Who should have access to these things and when? If they do, do they abuse it? Or even worse, do you or someone else go out of their way to hide, cover up and lie about “private” or inappropriate connections and conversations? If it has to be hidden it probably shouldn’t be happening.

This topic is a controversial one, so naturally we figured it was worth a conversation!

The ultimate “success” of a relationship is marriage. That’s the end goal. But if you think about the most secure, happiest, and successful relationships, are they necessarily married? Some of the worst relationships are also married individuals.

In this episode, and from this viewpoint, Krissy and Marie discuss that the success of a relationship isn’t necessarily defined by a fixed duration, title, or set parameters; rather, it’s a continuous process of understanding, support, and shared experiences whether there is a legal or religious contract or not.

When you shift your perspective, it allows you to see how other markets may be more indicative of a successful relationship. These partnerships may have shorter durations, but they embrace anniversary check ins rather than commercialized flowers, jewelry and dinners. All these things might help turn a relationship rental (dating), lease (engagement), or buy (marriage) into the most successful partnership yet.

In this episode, Krissy and Marie discuss food and how they believe a diet is way more than what you eat.

Your diet extends beyond mere meals; it encompasses the content you consume. The shows and movies, the social media, what you read, the friends you hang out with and what you put on your body influence your mindset and emotions, impacting overall well-being.

Consider your diet as more than what you eat, it’s the company you keep. Surrounding yourself with supportive, uplifting individuals can contribute to a positive lifestyle. Emotional nourishment is as vital as nutritional intake; cultivate relationships that nurture your mental and emotional health.

The places you frequent also play a role. Opt for environments that foster well-being and align with your personal values. A holistic approach to your diet involves being mindful of every aspect of your life, ensuring a balance that promotes physical, mental, and emotional health. Ultimately, true well-being stems from a harmonious integration of various lifestyle elements, forming a comprehensive and sustainable approach to a healthy diet, not just what you put in your mouth

Exploring your true essence resembles gaining a panoramic view of your existence from an altitude of 30,000 feet—a vantage point that sieves out the clamor of societal expectations.
And authenticity emerges by shedding external influences, steadfastly resisting the imposition of societal norms on your identity. This heightened perspective fosters lucidity, enabling you to differentiate between conformity and your authentic self.

The journey of self-discovery involves resisting external pressures, celebrating your individuality, and navigating life authentically. What does this mean really and how does one get there? The crucial step is an introspective gaze, for you must first look within to unearth your authentic self.

Consider the interplay of masculine and feminine energies within this odyssey. It entails acknowledging that both these facets coexist within you, shaping your strengths and sensitivities. Embracing these energies isn't an act of conformity but a recognition of your holistic self.
When you scrutinize your life, the equilibrium and mindfulness between masculine and feminine energies seamlessly integrate into your genuine nature, enriching the story of your distinctive life.

Let’s learn together….

<itunes:summary>“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” -Oscar WildeDiscovering your true self is like looking at your life from 30,000 feet – a perspective that filters out societal noise. Authenticity is found by peeling away external influences, refusing to let societal norms define you. This elevated view provides clarity, helping you discern between conformity and your genuine self. Embracing authenticity is a powerful act of self-love, a commitment to living on your terms despite expectations and norms. It's about realizing that societal expectations are fleeting, while your true self remains a constant guide. In essence, the journey to self-discovery involves resisting external pressures, celebrating your uniqueness, and navigating life authentically…. But you must first look within to discover that self. Consider the interplay of masculine and feminine energies in this journey. It's recognizing that both aspects coexist within, influencing your strengths and sensitivities. Embracing these energies is not conformity but an acknowledgment of your holistic self. When you look at your life, the balance and awareness between masculine and feminine energies becomes a harmonious part of your authentic narrative, enriching the story of your unique journey.Let’s learn together….Instagram Links | @marie.urban1 | @krissyb32 | @We_call_bullshThis podcast has been produced and edited by Musso Media LLC.
The Art of Connection: Navigating Non-Reactivity, Silence, and Patience in Relationships

Do you walk around with a sign that says “do not disturb” or a sign that says “do not be disturbed”

Non-reactivity, silence, and patience wield a transformative influence in our friendships, relationships, and even how we relate to food. The knack for staying composed in the face of minor conflicts not only builds resilience but also deepens our understanding of one another. Thoughtful use of silence becomes a potent response, conveying emotions and wisdom that words often fall short of expressing. We firmly believe in the principle of not making permanent decisions based on temporary emotions. Thus, we advocate that non-reactivity strengthens friendships, silence enhances relationships, and patience sustains both, fostering resilience and preventing hasty decisions. In the intricate dance of human connection, these qualities come together to weave a fabric of understanding and lasting bonds, creating a nurturing space for personal growth and the shared evolution of experiences.

Dealing with mental illness is an arduous journey, marked by the challenges of navigating one's thoughts and emotions. The weight of such struggles can be overwhelming, often leaving individuals feeling isolated and misunderstood. However, it's crucial to recognize that one's trauma does not define their identity. Instead, experiences, no matter how difficult, have the potential to foster empathy and understanding.

Acknowledging personal battles can empower individuals to use their experiences as tools for helping others facing similar struggles. By turning adversity into an opportunity for connection, those who have grappled with mental health issues can offer support and guidance to those in need. This transformation not only aids in personal healing but also contributes to building a compassionate and supportive community. Ultimately, the resilience gained from overcoming mental health challenges allows individuals to play a pivotal role in breaking down stigmas and fostering a culture of understanding and empathy.
